The essence of the message of the historical story line of our time was well established by September 11, 2003. By that time for better or worse George W. Bush had put his stamp on history. There would be war unending, the direction of which is being maintained by Barrak Hussien Obama as of this writing in the spring of 2010. While the outcome of the Age of Terrorism is far from certain, the East is still on the field in what they expect to be one hundred years of war. Upon election in 2000 our enemy was dismissed by George W. Bush as not the real enemy. Russia was, a mentality that will get us in trouble. Willian J. Clinton had it wrong to have Osama bin Laden public enemy number one. One can only wonder how history might be different if Bush had taken bin Laden seriously prior to 9/11?
One can only wonder how the story would be today if Al Gore had been chosen as president by the Supreme Court in the disputed election of 2000. The court with clear Constitutionally supported jurisprudence could have ruled, get the electoral college fixed by the next election and ruled in favor of "we the people" who in clear majority voted for Al Gore. What kind of court is this that rules against we the people?
If there had been a President Gore for sure no war on Iraq. And it is highly likely he would have taken intelligence of attacks by planes in August 2001 seriously and may have avoided 9/11. And if war, the taxes to pay for it. And with a locked box to protect the social security fund, and not emptying the national treasury of our hard earned payment on our future, and climate friendly policies, and a people friendly Supreme Court, for the court must serve the people according to the first line of our Constitution or we are dammed, on and on ... one can only wonder at what might have been.
