Trump to Make End of War the Hall Mark of His Second Presidency

Trump to Make End of War the Hall Mark of His Second Presidency

Be the Tip of the Spear

February 21, 2019jsc

Afghanistan early 2019 is in the news.  A stalemated war of almost twenty years and there is no victory in site for either side. President Trump is fostering peace talks with Taliban, a change of story from not talking to talking to enemies.  On ending this war Trump is on right side of history. Our role on larger stage is peace not war maker.

Obama 2014, the constitutional lawyer president justly said, if war in Syria then Congress must approve. Congress deferred and the political right howled for war. President Obama seeing no throngs in the streets protesting war in Syria entered the field of battle. Another well laid trap to pull us into war and more war. Trump wants us out of Syria 2020 … his changing the story in Syria from war to peace a good thing.

Korea Peace 2019, Trump and Un are defying the nay-sayers. In February I hope they shock us by a formal declaration ending that war.  That action and the log jam at the U.N. preventing Korea Peace broken apart.

In our time we take the power in changing the story of wars ending to the global level: President Trump, the hallmark of second presidency embraces Kellogg Briand Pact to end all war. It is time for the law and order crowd step up to the global plate.

By changing the story from war to peace, President Trump will accept on behalf of citizens of United States of American the Nobel Peace Prizes 2020 and 2024 for our part in ending Korean War and working with humanity to enforce the Pact against war.

The golden ring of peace is within his grasp, will he grab it?  Will we follow his lead?

This Progressive Considering Vote Trump Peace 2020

From my progressive soul I only rarely agree with President Trump on matters domestic. That’s politics, Democrats lost and he is honoring his promises. I see him lean left to make a deal and observe he is held hostage by extremism on his right. His situation made worse by Democratic leadership that is old, unimaginative and mean spirited. Hard to make a grand deal when other side offers so little that is grand. Let’s play, you want a wall, we want total immigration reform, game. Win-win, both and beyond duality kind of thinking! Compromise like our Founders did!

On matters foreign, President Trump deserves great credit. History will judge him correct in labelling recent wars, “stupid wars”. History will judge us, unkindly, for paying trillions many, many times over for wars and empire power games that made us unsafe. Pay Attention: National security threats are from within not without. History will tell how our generals sold out to military industrial complex and as Eisenhower warned now endless war. Most esteemed military philosopher Sun Tzu cautions endless war ends in catastrophic war. President Trump, the great disrupter, is putting an end to all that craziness. Trump is right, main stream press is telling the story of his peace initiatives with bias.  Should the Democrats not rediscover their “’Great Society” soul lost in muck of Vietnam …  this progressive, assuming President Trump has not undone himself or caved in, considering vote Trump Peace 2020.

Authoritarianism Rising and Christianity Compromised

October 21, 2018

The headlines around the globe shout out; authoritarian governments are rising. Also jumping out is the story of the brutality committed by these governments to repress any countenance to their authority. The cover up of the brutal killing of Saudi citizen Khashoggi allegedly done by Saudi government is in the headlines. The subscript is clear; we should all be a little scared to speak up.

President Trump is on the news today praising “body-slamming” of reporter, “my kind of guy.” he proudly proclaims. People roar in cheer. Be afraid. It appears for now a growing tolerance and support for Nazi style government.

On TV prominent Christian leaders are supporting Caesar’s agenda, fearful of loss of billion dollar sale and jobs. What? The last thing Jesus would say, on CNN, "Yes, I put money and jobs over justice.” What He would say likely very unpopular; sort of His thing!

My own Church having turned away from Vatican II to be peace church is essentially an arm American foreign and domestic policy.

Jesus to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan”, when Peter too much for Caesar’s agenda. Of course God chooses sinful human’s for we are all sinners; and converted we do the works of Love as Jesus would in the name of Justice.

In the land there is no sacred justice, only naked power. Prophets warn of danger.

In the main Christian leaders of today are the Pharisees of yesteryear.

Authoritarianism is rising and Christianity is compromised.

God Help Us.

Earth Citizen

End War Forever

Undoing War Undoes Patriarchy

September 11, 2018

Jan Stephen Cavanaugh, Ph.D., Global Human Development, Inc.

Premise: Nothing significantly good in human development can happen next without undoing patriarchy. While great progress made in last hundred years in the equality of women, inequality remains rampant. Slavery while outlawed; slavery continues. WWIII is more likely than not. Earth beset by appalling violations of human rights and environmental degradation. In the halls of power whether church or state or government or industry patriarchy reigns. Great injustices to be righted and patriarchy is in the way.

A globalizing humanity to become “earth citizen” conscious can undo it. It is a matter of numbers.

What would take the starch out of patriarchy? Undo war. Remove war and remove the dominance of the phallic principle, the testicular heart of patriarchy. In this way it is axiomatic that undoing war undoes patriarchy.

With the phallic principle of war removed from human endeavor, it is the end of war conscious dominant humanity. A great leap in human development is now possible, law dominant consciousness. Humanity trusts law to keep it safe from war.

When just law is justly adjudicated the feminine principle is dominant in human affairs.

What is the answer to war? Kellogg Briand Pact (KBP) the 1928 law against war is the complied wisdom of our grandparents in the matter of ending war. KBP is international law, yet to be enforced.

Conclusion: The most expedient way to undo patriarchy is to undo war.

How? Our task is to generate the critical mass needed to convince first generation earth citizens to go to ballot box and elect leaders intent on ending war via an updated Kellogg Briand Pact.

It is a matter of numbers to attract numbers … the law of attraction to end war.

Imagine Occupy Wall Street Going Global and 20 to become 200 to become 2000 to become 20,000 to become 200, 000 to become 2,000,000 and then 200,000,000 in one virtual space in one voice ready to vote for leaders to “End War Forever.”

Once the media notices the numbers and as those numbers grow, and they will, the desire to end war is deep, so does the story of humanity ending war.

We can write that story. You can be an earth citizen by doing one thing.

In the imaginal realm “encircle the globe.” Einstein

Occupy Virtual Space PeaceMonkPark2050.

Enter the imaginal realm on the northeast corner of Avenue War and Peace Street.

Earth citizens march humanity down Peace Street and end war forever.

USA Hard Line Game Plan Equals Failure Korea Peace

by Jan Stephen James Cavanaugh, Ph.D. on 08/09/18

United States Intransigence Will Lead to Korea Peace Failure

August 9, 2018jsc

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/exclusive-pompeo-told-north-korea-to-cut-its-nuclear-arsenal-by-60-to-70-percent/ar-BBLFizH?ocid=spartandhp

The story line is clear U. S. making demands upon and giving nothing in return as game plan in Korea Peace negotiations. We take a hard line approach. North Korean hardliners who do not trust Americans in the first place are whispering in Kim Un’s ear, “You cannot trust these Americans, they disrespect us”. The forces favoring war are in charge on both sides.

The generally tepid American response to Korea peace indicative of a state of collective consciousness, a citizenry, perhaps by social design predisposed to war … perhaps been at war for so long are  suffering from PTSD. The Koreans see this and hesitate.

Trust: Critical to Ending Conflict. To end war means building the trust and good will of the Korean and American peoples … the enemies of one generation often great friends in the next.

To build trust U.S.A. lifts all sanctions, so that North Koreans can feel the economic benefits of peace. They also a war traumatized people.

Jesus makes it clear if you cannot love your enemy as is taught, and if not over bread and wine end the conflict, then off to court (not war) you go. Better over bread and wine! Let’s give negotiators for Korea Peace the game plan to succeed. Empathy: Each side willing to give the other what it needs to feel safe as all sides “stand down” from war and all sides build up for peace. A time for healing to begin … and perhaps in time reunion of this noble people.

As of now United States Intransigence guarantees failure on Korea Peace, so I assume the powers that be on our side, are either blind, or prefer war.

Psalm 120 v. 7: “I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for fighting”.

The true prophet speaks not of the future, but of the present danger.  The conversion of the people of Nineveh comes to mind.

Do we have the courage to look in the mirror and demand our leaders a change of heart? Korea Peace hangs in the balance.
