Sixth Principle: Balanced Budget
The financial burden the United States is carrying is self destructive.
To survive and thrive in a globalizing economy in a
world at war with itself will take sacrifice.
There is nothing wrong with honest borrowing from the present to pay for a future good, but it is a rule of money that the Léger must show
the will to pay now for that future.
By this measure we are greatly over extended.
Balanced Budget means periodic reconciling of the financial record as we engage a globalizing humanity.
