One Taste: The Age of Peace
June 10, 2014jsc
One Taste is a Buddhist teaching. The ocean and the taste of salt … the one taste nature of ocean.
In this way I am inviting everyone to one taste … The Age of Peace … and the taste of justice.
I can taste it. Can anyone else?
I feel like the Zen monk who scrawled across the face of an erotic painting of a courtesan,
“Up down, up down, up down,
I have great endurance,
Doesn’t anyone see my true purpose?”
I fear time is running out for a good outcome to the end of our civilization. And I continue to hope, for, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words and never stops at all”. Emily Dickinson
I will not be here to see the end of the story, but you can be damn sure I will be paying attention. The Age of Terrorism will end, what will be left standing?
I pray G-d, Divine One; hear our prayer that we might make the Age of Peace come true, peace on earth, let Thy will be done.
